About:

I’m a freelance pilot and aviation consultant. I have experience in many types of aircraft and in most areas of the world. More importantly, I'm professional and have a strong focus on safety, reliability and customer satisfaction.

In addition to flying I provide aviation consulting, aircraft purchase and export, and aviation software.

Flight Experience:

I currently have about 3,000 hours total flight time. I have flown many aircraft types including single-engine, multi-engine, tailwheel, large aircraft, and glass cockpit aircraft. My flight experience includes 2-pilot flight crew, extensive international experience and North Atlantic crossings. I meet insurance companies' experience requirements for single-engine and multi-engine trans-Atlantic ferry flights.

Safety and reliability are always my first concern. I have no incidents, accidents or violations of any kind.

Licenses:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot, Multi-Engine, Instrument
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI)
  • FAA A&P Mechanic with Inspection Authorization (IA)

Education:

  • NC Wesleyan College
  • B.S. in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems

Miscellaneous:

I was a member of the Quality Systems council and training coordinator for a leading aerospace multi-national. Before that I was responsible for FAR-125 certificate management for a small cargo operator. My aviation maintenance experience includes radial engines as well as the latest commercial jet engines. I have teaching experience in many different settings including formal classroom, with a high degree of student satisfaction.

Beside aviation, my other passion is software development. I'm proficient with many current technologies and I'm currently working on web applications for aviation and HVAC industries.
